Tournaments

Tournaments are elimination-bracket events. They're created from the same Leagues module — when creating a new league, choose the Cup / Tournament type.

How it works

A Cup / Tournament league seeds players or teams into a single-elimination bracket. As matches are recorded, winners automatically advance to the next round until a champion is determined.

Use the same league tools to run a tournament:

• Groups — seed players/teams into the bracket
• Matches — record match results round by round
• Standings — see who has advanced and who's been eliminated

Tournament status

Like any league, a tournament moves through statuses — Draft while you're setting it up, Open while registration is available, Active once matches are underway, and Finished once a winner is decided.
